On the 2nd June, The
king Juan Carlos abdicated and gaves the throne to Prince Felipe.
The king who is 76 has reigned for
40 years. His reputation has been transhed by the crimes of his
daughter and her husband, and his hobby of massacring elephants. In
2012 in the middle of the economic crissis, the king went to Botswana
and hunted elephants.
The abdication of the king has
caused protest against the Monaqrchy in urban areas. While the
old-king and the new-king are doing ceremonies and preparing to the
coronation.
The king has said he is not
abdicating becouse of the pressure of the media .” It's a personal
decision”.
